The Yaguruma, a sash clip with interchangeable settings in 12 different forms, was displayed at the Paris Expo, where it attracted attention for its unique design, breaking new ground in multi-functional jewelry. After being sold in Paris it disappeared from public view, before reappearing at an auction in New York in 1989. It was then purchased by Mikimoto and returned home to Mikimoto Pearl Island, where it remains today.
