The Limited Edition pieces will be available only from their Bond Street boutique and some exclusive retailers and include a collection of the rarest of all pearls - the golden pearl as well as a collection of Baroque pieces and a AAA quality Akoya Necklace.
The five golden pearl pieces consist of a Golden Lipped Cultured Pearl pendant set in yellow gold and diamonds on a golden chord, which is accompanied by a 10.5 mm Golden Lipped Cultured Pearl ring in 18K gold flanked by diamonds and a very unusual 18K yellow gold four leaf clover brooch set with a magnificent Golden Lipped Cultured Pearl and set with diamonds. The piece de la resistance of the Golden Lipped Cultured Pearl selection is a very rare Golden Lipped Cultured Pearl necklace graduated 10-13mm set with a yellow gold diamond clasp and platinum. The last of the five pieces is an 18 inch graduated strand of 8.5-8.0 to 7.0mm Golden Akoya Cultured Pearls. The rarity of these pearls will limit the series to 175 units, each featuring a numbered special edition ball clasp engraved with "MIKIMOTO 1893". The central focus of the Baroque jewellery collection is a fabulously versatile two row pendant necklace which can be split to be worn as two different necklaces or as one double row pendant. The 18K white gold chains of the Akoya Cultured Pearl pendant are interlaced with small white 5 mm Akoya Cultured Pearls; the inner chain has a Silver Lipped Cultured Pearl (Baroque) and the outer chain has a Black Lipped Cultured Pearl (Baroque). Worn as a double chain pendant the look is dramatically striking. Separated into single chains it offers the sort of versatility which is often overlooked in jewellery. This is simply the 'must have' piece of the season.

The last piece of the Limited Edition Pieces is an 18 inch strand of AAA quality 7.5-7.0mm Akoya Cultured Pearls, the highest quality MIKIMOTO offers. Each strand has a numbered platinum clasp centered by a single, radiant pink diamond (D-0.04ct). This series is limited to 110 units.
