Following the success of Miki Fukai's Autumn Winter 2004 Collection Mikimoto is supporting the London based Japanese designer for the second time during London Fashion Week 2004 where she will be showing her Spring Summer 2005 collections.

Miki Fukai graduated in 2002 from Central St Martin’s College of Art and Design with a distinction in MA Fashion Design. Miki has worked as a fashion stylist, costume designer and Womenswear designer both in London and Tokyo. She launched her Miki Fukai Collection in January 2003 and won the title of New Generation Designer supported by the British Fashion Council.

Mikimoto and Miki Fukai share many of the same attributes: excellent design with attention to detail and a passion for using the most luxurious materials.

The Spring/Summer 2005 Collection by Miki Fukai will feature Mikimoto pearls and will be shown during London Fashion Week September 2004.
